Certified Professional Coder-Houston (77027)
Northstar Healthcare seeks a full-time experienced and effective medical coder. This position supports multiple surgery centers and physician practices. Please submit your resume if you meet the following criteria:
Minimum of 4 years coding surgical cases, both in and out of network
Must be able to abstract coding from op reports rapidly and accurately
Demonstrated ability to accurately report on activity and outcomes
Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to identify and analyze coding trending and regulations Demonstrated knowledge of revenue cycle and impact of coding on same
Ability to support coding for multiple surgery centers
Ability to use resources to learn and adapt coding skills for new procedures
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in OUT OF NETWORK coding.
CPC designation preferred.
