John Moragne, MD
Dr. Moragne has been a practicing Anesthesiologist for over 15 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Oklahoma State University in 1981 and his medical degree from University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City in 1986. He completed a General Surgery Internship at Vanderbilt University followed by a research fellowship in Neurological Surgery at the University of Oklahoma. After an additional year of training in Neurological Surgery he entered the Anesthesia Residency at the University of Oklahoma where he completed the residency in 1992.

Moragne has been the founding and managing partner in three Anesthesia groups. The first practice, MWH Associates in Anesthesiology, P.A. was established in 1992 at Tomball Regional Hospital in Tomball Texas. He subsequently founded and managed River Oaks Anesthesia Consultants, P.A. in Houston, Texas which primarily provided Anesthesia services for a busy multispecialty ambulatory surgery center.

Under his guidance he, along with two other partners, merged two geographically diverse Anesthesia practices to form Texas Anesthesia Consultants, P.A. Subsequent to this union he was the managing partner and responsible for the marketing and operations of the new group. Under Moragne's leadership the group acquired contracts for Anesthesia services at Memorial Hermann Ft. Bend Hospital, an acute care hospital located in Missouri City, Texas, Nassau Bay Surgery Center and Surgical Arts Center of Clear Lake, a surgical specialty hospital located in Webster, Texas.

Currently he is an owner and managing partner of Palladium Anesthesia, P.A. which currently provides Anesthesia services for Palladium for Surgery - Houston.

During this time he has remained very active in the operations and governance of the facilities in which he has been a part of. While at Tomball regional Medical Center Moragne served as Chief, Department of Surgery as well as Chief, Department of Anesthesiology. Subsequently while at River Oaks Surgical Center in Houston he was the Medical Director and served as both member and Chairman of the Governing Board. Under his direction River Oaks Surgical Center began operations in July 1998 and grew to a 500+ cases per month multispecialty ambulatory surgical center. He established the Anesthesia Department, created the policies and procedures, ensured compliance, monitored financial performance and was intimately involved in the day to day running of the facility both on an administrative as well as a clinical level.

Currently he serves as the Medical Director of the Palladium for Surgery - Houston and the Palladium for Surgery - Dallas. He also is a member of the Governing Board of the Palladium for Surgery - Houston. In addition to being involved in the governance, compliance and day to day operations of the facilities he maintains an active surgical Anesthesia practice.
